Visa Information


General Information

All international participants attending IMCIO2026 in Paris, France (October 26–28, 2026) must hold a valid passport and, in many cases, a visa. Please check your country’s requirements well in advance of travel.

 

Visa Exemptions

  • Citizens of over 60 countries (including the US, UK, most EU countries, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, etc.) can enter France without a visa for short stays (15–45 days depending on nationality).
  • If you are eligible, you only need a valid passport, a confirmed return ticket, and proof of accommodation.


Visa on Arrival (VOA)

  • Available for nationals of 19 countries (including China and India).
  • Valid for 15 days.
  • Requirements:
    • Valid passport (at least 6 months)
    • Return/onward travel ticket
    • Proof of accommodation
    • Proof of sufficient funds (10,000 THB per person or 20,000 THB per family)
    • Visa fee (~2,000 THB, subject to change)


Tourist Visa (Single Entry or Multiple Entry)

  • Suitable for participants attending the conference.
  • Valid for 30–60 days depending on the embassy/consulate.
  • Apply at your nearest France Embassy/Consulate before travel.


Documents Generally Required

  • Valid passport (6 months minimum validity)
  • Completed visa application form
  • Passport-size photographs

Invitation letter from IMCIO2026 Organizing Committee (provided on request)

  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking)
  • Return flight booking


Invitation Letters from IMCIO2026

Upon registration, the organizing committee will provide:

  • Official invitation letter for visa application
  • Conference participation confirmation
  • Hotel booking confirmation (if booked through our packages)
