The InSciTech Meet on Graphene & 2D Materials
(IMG2DM2026) is a premier international conference dedicated to showcasing
cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and innovative applications
in graphene, two-dimensional (2D) materials, and related nanomaterials. The
summit will take place from December 07–09, 2026, in Dubai, United
Arab Emirates.
IMG2DM2026 will bring together a global community of materials
scientists, physicists, chemists, nanotechnologists, engineers, researchers,
academicians, industry innovators, and policymakers to exchange knowledge,
foster collaboration, and advance fundamental and applied research driving
next-generation materials and device technologies.
Organized by InSciTech Summits, this three-day event
provides a multidisciplinary platform for the exchange of pioneering ideas,
discussion of real-world scientific and industrial applications, and
development of impactful collaborations between academia, research
institutions, and industries spanning electronics, energy, healthcare,
aerospace, and advanced manufacturing. The scientific and professional program
will feature plenary and keynote lectures, technical sessions, case-based
and application-focused discussions, interactive panel forums, workshops, and
extensive networking opportunities, all designed to inspire innovation and
accelerate progress in graphene and 2D materials science.
Market Analysis – IMG2DM2026
The global market for graphene and 2D materials is
experiencing rapid growth, driven by advancements in nanotechnology, increasing
demand for lightweight and high-performance materials, expanding applications
in electronics, energy storage, sensors, and biomedical devices, and growing
investments from both public and private sectors in advanced materials research

Dubai is the
most populous city in the United Arab Emirates and the capital of the
Emirate of Dubai. It is on a creek on the southeastern coast of the Persian
Gulf. As of 2025, its population stands at 4 million, 92% of whom are
expatriates. The wider urban area includes Sharjah and has a population of 5
million people as of 2023, while the Dubai–Sharjah–Ajman metropolitan area has
a population of 6 million people.
Founded in the early 18th century
as a pearling and fishing settlement, Dubai became a regional trade hub in
the 20th century after declaring itself a free port (1901) and extending
the Creek (1961). Modest oil revenue
helped accelerate Dubai's development from the 1960s to the 1990s, when the
city started to diversify its economy. In 2018, oil production contributed less
than 1% to the emirate's GDP.
