Pedro Fonte is an Assistant Professor at the University of Algarve, Portugal, and a Group Leader in pharmaceutical nanotechnology and advanced drug delivery. His research focuses on developing innovative nanocarriers for targeted drug delivery and translational nanomedicine. He has published over 67 peer-reviewed articles, edited one international book, authored 11 book chapters, and founded two start-up companies. Since 2021, he has been recognized among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University/Elsevier and received the Prémio Investigador Universidade do Algarve 2025 for his outstanding research contributions.

Paulo C. de Morais, PhD, is a distinguished physicist and researcher with more than 40 years of experience in nanomaterials research. He is an Emeritus Professor of the University of Brasília and a Full Professor at the Catholic University of Brasília, Brazil. He has also held academic positions at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Anhui University in China. He has published more than 500 peer-reviewed papers, received over 14,500 citations, delivered around 300 invited lectures internationally, and holds 18 filed patents. His research achievements have been recognized through numerous international awards and rankings, including Stanford/Elsevier and Research.com rankings.

Dr Bernd Blobel is an internationally recognized medical informatics expert from Germany. He earned his PhD from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and founded the Medical Informatics Department at the Institute of Biometry and Medical Informatics in 1985. His research focuses on healthcare system modeling interoperability electronic health records distributed health information systems and healthcare security. He was elected a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics in 2004.
