Prof. Blobel studied Mathematics, Technical Cybernetics and Electronics, Theoretical Physics, Biocybernetics, Informatics, and Medicine at different universities in East Germany. He received the PhD degree in Physics, a habilitation in Medicine, and a habilitation in Medical Informatics. He was Head of the Physical Laboratory in Environmental Medicine at the Medical University Magdeburg and thereafter Head of the Medical Informatics Department and then Director of the Institute For Biometrics and Medical Informatics at the Medical Faculty of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. In 2004, he became Founder and Head of the Health Telematics Project Group at Fraunhofer Society, Institute of Integrated Circuits (IIS), Erlangen, and thereafter Head of the German National eHealth Competence Center (eHCC) at the University of Regensburg. He is author of more than 500 scientific publications.

Dr. Sami Mahmoud Abdelkhair Momin, MD, FRCOG, is President-Elect of the African Federation of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (AFOG), and a past member of the FIGO Executive Board. He is associated with the Egyptian Fetal Medicine Foundation and the University of Gezira in Khartoum, Sudan. He has served as the Medical Director at the Reproductive Health Care Centre, Khartoum, has been Deputy Secretary General of the Sudanese Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society, and is a founder member of the White Ribbon Alliance in Sudan. He also holds roles in faculty education including ALSO Advisory Faculty in Sudan.

Joyce Simard has more than 40 years of experience in the long-term care sector, specializing in dementia care and end-of-life programs.
Health Professions Press. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Work from Ithaca College (New York) and a Master of Social Work from University of Minnesota (USA). Dr. Simard is internationally recognised for developing the “Namaste Care” program, designed to enhance quality of life for individuals with advanced dementia. She is a frequent keynote speaker and consultant globally, and the author of several books and articles on dementia care and nursing practice.

Dr. Sedigheh Pakseresht is a Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Community Health, Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Iran. With over three decades of experience in teaching, research, and clinical midwifery, she has made significant contributions to women’s health, nursing education, and reproductive healthcare. She has also served as Head of the Obstetrics Department and Editor-in-Chief of the Holistic Nursing & Midwifery Journal. Dr. Pakseresht has supervised numerous research projects and postgraduate theses focused on improving maternal and community health outcomes.

Dr. Terzioğlu graduated first in her class from Hacettepe University in 1989 and has since built an outstanding career in nursing, leadership, and health sciences. She received the İhsan Doğramacı Superior Merit Award, the Science Incentive Award, and earned additional qualifications including a pilot’s license, leadership certificates, and international research scholarships supported by INDEN, Sigma Theta Tau, and the British Council—awards granted to only a few scholars worldwide. She has served in several academic and administrative leadership roles, including professor at Hacettepe University, Co-Head of the Nursing Department, Director of Nursing Services at Hacettepe University Hospitals, Founding Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Founding Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at İstinye University, and Director of Nursing at MLPCare overseeing 30 hospitals. With over 100 publications, eight books, 20 research projects, and more than 60 invited speeches, she is an internationally recognized leader in reproductive health, nursing management, and professional development. She has also served as Vice-Rector at Kocaeli Health and Technology University, Rector of Avrasya University, and is currently Vice-Rector at İstanbul Aydın University, as well as Turkey’s ENDA representative since 2020.
