Dr. Ankush Ghosh is a Global R&D Manager at DataFaktory AG, Switzerland Innovation Park, Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, and an Adjunct Professor at Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. A Fellow of IETE and Senior Member of IEEE (USA), he has over 20 years of experience across academia, research, administration, and industry. He completed his M.Tech in VLSI and Microelectronics and Ph.D. in Engineering from Jadavpur University, India, in 2010, and has also served as a Research Fellow at the Advanced Technology Cell (DRDO), Government of India, where he was awarded a National Scholarship by the Ministry of HRD. He has published over 200 research papers (146 indexed in Scopus), holds more than 20 national and international patents, 5 copyrights, and has authored over 30 books with Springer and Elsevier. Dr. Ghosh serves on editorial boards of several international journals, including as Chief Editor, and has delivered numerous keynote and invited lectures worldwide. He is actively involved in organizing IEEE and Springer conferences and mentors startups and students through initiatives such as Startup India, IIT Bombay, BITS Pilani Hyderabad, and MIT ADT University. In recognition of his contributions, he received the “Innovate India” Award from AICTE-DST, Government of India, in 2019 and 2020.
Prof. Dr. Murat Karacasu is the Head of the Transportation Division at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, where he plays a leading role in advancing research and academic excellence in transportation engineering and infrastructure systems. With extensive experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, and sustainable mobility solutions, he has contributed significantly to the development of innovative approaches that improve safety, efficiency, and performance within modern transport networks.
Prof. Dr. Karacasu’s research focuses on transportation systems analysis, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), traffic safety, infrastructure management, and sustainable urban mobility. He has actively engaged in academic research, project supervision, and international collaborations, contributing to the evolution of smart and resilient transportation systems. Through his academic leadership and research contributions, he continues to support the integration of technology, policy, and engineering solutions for future-ready transportation infrastructure.
