Prof. Dr. Füsun Terzioğlu graduated as the valedictorian of Hacettepe University and has been honored with numerous prestigious awards throughout her career, including the İhsan
Doğramacı Outstanding Achievement Award and the Science Incentive Award. Beyond her academic identity, she is a licensed amateur pilot, certified and parachutist.She has conducted advanced scientific research in the fields of women’s health, leadership,
and management at world-renowned institutions such as the University of Michigan, Kent State University, Hebrew University, and the University of Liverpool, supported by various
international fellowships.
Prof.Terzioğlu has held high-level administrative positions, including Head of Department, Director of Institute, Founding Dean, Vice Rector, and Rector. During her tenure as Founding
Dean, she simultaneously served as the Director of Quality and Care Services for both Hacettepe University Hospitals and the MLPCare Group.
In recognition of her pioneering work in nursing education and healthcare management, she served as the Turkish Representative and Board Member of the European Nurse Directors Association (ENDA). Nearly 200 scientific articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, garnering 3,331 citations. Over 30 projects supported by major
organizations such as TÜBİTAK, UE, STT, INDEN, and BAB. Editor or chapter author in 27 national and international scientific books Participated in over 500 congresses as an invited speaker and presenter. Supervised more than 60 Master’s and PhD theses. Her primary
research interests include simulation, digital gaming, interactive educational methods, management and leadership, workload analysis, manpower planning, women’s health and
empowerment, health information systems, and innovation.
