Visa Information

Participants planning to attend IMSTIHEALTH2027 in Bangkok, Thailand (May 17–19, 2027) are advised to check the visa requirements applicable to their nationality well in advance of their travel.

Thailand offers different visa options depending on the visitor's country of citizenship and the purpose and duration of the visit. Citizens of many countries may be eligible for visa exemption, Visa on Arrival (VOA), or an electronic visa (e-Visa), while others may need to obtain a visa from a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate before traveling.

Conference participants are encouraged to:

  • Verify the latest visa requirements based on their nationality.
  • Ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry into Thailand.
  • Apply for a visa well in advance, if required.
  • Carry all necessary travel and supporting documents, including accommodation details and proof of sufficient funds, as required by Thai immigration authorities.

The Organizing Committee will provide an official Letter of Invitation upon request to registered participants. Please note that the invitation letter is intended to support a visa application and does not guarantee visa approval. Visa issuance is solely at the discretion of the Royal Thai Embassy, Consulate, or the relevant immigration authorities.

Participants are responsible for complying with all immigration requirements and obtaining the appropriate visa before traveling.

We recommend checking the latest travel and visa regulations through the nearest Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate or the official Thai e-Visa portal before making travel arrangements.
