Kambiz Ebrahimi is Professor of Advanced Propulsion at the Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering, Loughborough University.
His research interest is mainly in the systems dynamic and control with applications in powertrain design and testing.
He received his PhD in dynamic modelling and MEng is system engineering from Cardiff University. Much of his work has been on modelling, performance evaluation and testing of propulsion systems

Dr. Suong Van Hoa obtained his Bachelor of Engineering from California State University San Luis Obispo in
1971. He obtained his Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto in
1973, and Ph.D. from the same Department in 1976. He worked as a Design Engineer at Canadian Fram Ltd. in
Chatham, Ontario until 1977. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Concordia University in
1977 and has been there since. Dr. Hoa started working on composite materials and structures in 1979. He
specializes in the analysis, design, manufacturing and evaluation of composite materials and structures. Dr. Hoa
initiated and founded the Canadian Association for Composite Structures and Materials (CACSMA) in 1988.
Dr. Hoa initiated and founded the Concordia Center for Composites, which was approved by the Board of
Directors of the University in 1993. Dr. Hoa was Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at
Concordia from 1994 till 2000 and is currently Chair of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial
Engineering at Concordia since 2003. He is Editor, North America of the Journal of Science and Engineering of
Composite Materials. He has written four books on composites and is author and co-author of four patents. He
is Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and of the Canadian Society for Mechanical
Engineering. He was awarded Concordia Research Fellow for 2001.

Prof. Dr. Sher Afghan Khan is a graduated from Z. H. College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 1982 with a BSc.Engg. and M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India in 1984. He started his career as a senior scientific officer at Armament Research and Development, Defense Research and Development Organization, Ministry of Defense, India from 1984 to 1993.
During his stay in Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), he was actively involved in the design & development of Missiles, Unguided Rockets, Shells and Bombs. He has worked with the former President of India Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. who was the scientific adviser to Defense Minister and also the Director General Research and Development. He was appointed as an Associate Professor at Mechanical Engineering Dept., Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 1993 and later he was promoted as Professor in 2001.
He served as Principal/Dean Research and Academic Director at P. A. College of Engineering, Mangalore, Karnataka, India and also at Bearys Institute of Technology, Mangalore, Karnataka, India from 2004 to 2014. He also served as the Principal of Z H College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, from September 2014 to May 01, 2015. He has guided four Ph.D students and five are working under him. He has published research articles in national and international journals.

Dr Botez is presently Full Professor at the École de technologie supérieure, University of
Quebec in Montreal, Canada and she is the Canada Research Chair Holder in Aircraft Modeling and
Simulation New Technologies since January 2011, Canada Research Chairs.
Professor Botez is also the Founder and Head of the Laboratory of Applied Research in
Active Controls, Avionics and AeroServoElasticity LARCASE since 2003, where more than 45
students and researchers work every semester on various projects. In the next section, the
