Biography
Léo-Paul Dana is Professor at Dalhousie University, and at Montpellier Business School. He is also affiliated with Kingston University. A graduate of McGill University and HEC-Montreal, he served as Marie Curie Fellow at the Princeton University Department of Sociology, and Visiting Professor at INSEAD. He has published extensively in a variety of journals including: Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice; International Business Review; International Small Business Journal; Journal of Business Research; Journal of Small Business Management; Journal of World Business; Small Business Economics; and Technological Forecasting & Social Change.
Research Interest
Professor Dana has been researching for and with Indigenous peoples – those whose ancestors were living in an area prior to colonisation or within a nation-state prior to the formation of that nation-state. He defined Indigenous entrepreneurship as self-employment based on Indigenous knowledge and with a team developed a relevant model.

Biography
László Szerb received his university degree in 1985 from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs in Budapest. He received his university doctorate in 1990 from the same university. He received his Ph.D. in 1994 from West Virginia University (USA). In 2007, he habilitated at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs. Since 1985, he has been a full-time lecturer at the Department of Corporate Economics and Accounting of the University of Pécs. From 1990 to 1994, he was a PhD student and assistant professor at the Department of Economics of the University of West Virginia. Since 1995, he has been an associate professor and in 2007, he received his habilitation.

Biography
Joana Mendonça is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon. She is currently a member of the Governing Board at IST, responsible for the Campus at Oeiras-Taguspark and a member of the administration of Taguspark. She is also member of the Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research (IN+), where she is the president of the scientific council and where she develops research on management of technology and innovation, as well as on technology commercialization and adoption.
Joana has published about 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, such as Research Policy, Small Business Economics and Technological Forecasting and Social Change, contributed to several books, and has published one book on Innovation and Design Thinking. She has supervised six doctoral students and 29 Masters’ students.

Biography
Cristina Fernandes is an associate professor with Habilitation at FEP – Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto. With a PhD in Management from the Universidade da Beira Interior, she is a researcher at CEF.UP – Center for Economics and Finance at the University of Porto and NECE – Center for Studies in Business Sciences at the University of Beira Interior. She is part of the editorial board of international journals (Management Decision, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Review of Managerial Science), has dozens of scientific articles published in international journals on entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic management and regional development. She has participated in several funded international and national. She actively participates in scientific meetings and international conferences on these topics, either by presenting her research or as a key-note speaker, having been distinguished several times with best paper awards.

Renaud Redien-Collot (Ph.D Columbia University, New York and HDR, Université Reims Champagne Ardenne) is dean of faculty at ESCE International Business School (OMNES GROUP). Over the past 20 years, he has held numerous management positions management positions in several French Grandes Ecoles de Commerce. His areas of research cover gender studies in the fields of entrepreneurship, organizational theory and strategy. He is a member of the editorial board of Entrepreneurship & Regional Development and Revue Internationale PME. He is an appointed expert for the the European Commission on gender and innovation issues, through his participation in the juries of the Sciences with and for Society (SwafS) and Actions Marie Sklodowska-Curie. He has published several papers on gender, leadership, entrepreneurship, strategy, international management and entrepreneurial coaching.

Marco Vivarelli, Ph.D. in Economics and Ph.D. in Science and Technology Policy, is full professor at the Catholic University of Milano, where he is also Director of the Department of Economic Policy.
He is member of the Academia Europaea and of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
He is Professorial Fellow at UNU-MERIT, Maastricht and Research Fellow at IZA, Bonn.
He is Editor-in-Chief of the Eurasian Business Review, Editor of Small Business Economics, Associate Editor of Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Associate Editor of Industrial and Corporate Change.
His current research interests include the relationship between innovation, employment and occupations; the economic and social impacts of Artificial Intelligence; the economics of entrepreneurship and industrial dynamics.
