Prof. Dr. Yarub Al-Douri is a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, he is one of the Middle-East, North of Africa and Southeast Asia’s most renowned scientists known for his contributions in renewable energy and nanotechnology. He is scientist, researcher, administrator and excellent lecturer who has students all over the world. Al-Douri has Doctorat D’etat in Materials Science (2000), MSc in Physics (1995) and BSc in Physics (1991). He has been appointed Full-Professor, Visiting Professor, Adjunct Professor, Consultant Expert, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Research Fellow (A), Scientific Collaborator and Post-doc in UAE, KSA, Iraq, Malaysia, Turkey, Pakistan, Algeria, Yemen, Singapore, Germany and France, respectively. Al-Douri has initiated Nanotechnology Engineering MSc Program and Nano Computing Laboratory, the first in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, in addition to founding Applied Materials Laboratory in Algeria. Al-Douri was Head of Department of Nanomaterials and Department of International Networking and Collaboration, additionally to Secretary of Department of Physics. He has received 78 national and international prizes and awards including winner of ICTP-Arab Fund Associateships, Italy 2024-2026, IAAM Scientist Award by International Association of Advanced Materials, Sweden 2022, winner of World’s Top 2% Scientist Career-Long Citation Impact by Stanford University, USA 2020, World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, USA 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 & 2020, OeAD Award, Austria 2020, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Award 2019, Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) Award 2019, Iraqi Forum for Intellectuals and Academics Award 2019, Best Researcher Award at Cihan University Sulaimaniya 2021 & 2019, Best Paper at Global Conference on Energy and Sustainable Development, Coventry, UK 2015, Distinguished Researcher Award at University Malaysia Perlis 2011-2015, Gold Award at ITEX Kuala Lumpur 2013, TWAS-UNESCO Associateship 2009-2012 & 2012-2015 and others. He has more than 30 years’ experience of research, teaching, administrative and editorial board management, organizing events, research grants and consultations, in addition to more than 1000 publications with renowned international publishers like Elsevier, Springer, AIP, IOP, Taylor & Francis and Wiley, and US$ 5.1M research grants. Al-Douri has notable Citations more than 16137, h-index = 69, i10-index = 281 and US$ 5.1M research grants. He has supervised more than 24 students. Al-Douri is Associate Editor of Nano-Micro Letters (Springer,Q1,IF=31.6), Editor-in-Chief of Experimental and Theoretical NANOTECHNOLOGY (Scopus-indexed Q3) and World Journal of Nano Science and Engineering, Editor and Peer-reviewer of 34 international journals, member of 13 international scientific bodies, organized 37 international conferences, chaired 11 international conferences, appointed 39 internal and external examiner for post-graduates students, presented 42 training courses and public lectures and has been invited 74 times as keynote, invited and guest speakers to many reputed universities in Europe, Asia and Africa that ended up in generating more than 9 MOUs and MOAs. His research field focuses on renewable energy, nanotechnology, nanoelectronics, nanomaterials, modelling and simulation, semiconductors and optical studies. Al-Douri has contributed to academic and research life for upgrading universities to the international level. Finally, Al-Douri is public figure at international media in UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Qatar and UAE.

Prof. Koen Bertels is a Professor of Quantum Computer Engineering at Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), specializing in the design and development of scalable quantum computing systems for scientific and industrial applications. He played a key role in initiating Intel’s quantum computing collaboration with QuTech, where he contributed to defining the full-stack architecture of quantum computers, developed the OpenQL programming language, and led the creation of one of the first microarchitectures for quantum chips. In recent years, his research has expanded into DNA data storage, exploring its potential for storing both genetic and digital information. His current work focuses on the concept of Perfect Intermediate Scale Quantum (PISQ), which emphasizes error-free qubits to enable advanced algorithm development, while also integrating quantum computing with classical and DNA-based storage technologies in collaboration with FPGA House and QSentinel, contributing significantly to next-generation computing innovations.

Leo G Sapogin currently lives in Moscow, Russia. He began in 1954 to study in Taganrog Radio-technical University and graduated (Dept.
of solid state physics) in 1959. He served during his military service from 1959 to 1972 at Ministry of Defence as the scientific adviser.
Candidate of science (1966). He maintained (1971) the doctor degree in Leningrad State University. In 1972 to 1985, he was the Head
of Theoretical Department in Russia Academy of Science. Since 1985 till present he is the Head of Physical Department of Technical
University – MADI .He is the author (or coauthor) of numerous (over 200) published scientific articles, 4 books, school supplies. He obtained (with V.Boichenko), first, very important scientific result: calculating (with accuracy more 0.3%) of the electrical electron charge
and of the fine structure constant -1/137. He published (2005) in USA and Russia (together with Prof. Yu.Ryabov and V.Boichenko) the
book named “Unitary Quantum Theory and New Source of Energy”. Together with Ryabov he calculated mass spectrum of elementary
particles and mass bozon Higgs - 131.7 GeV. Professor L.Sapogin - academic of Russian Academy of Natural Science and World Academy of Complex Safety. He was honored with 7 medals and Orders. In addition to his interests in science and classical music, Professor
L.Sapogin has an interest in mountaineering. During 1956-1996, he had more than 200 ascensions in Caucases, Tyan-Schan, Pamir and
Alps. His biography is included in collection books of Who’s Who in the World (2006), of International Biographic Centre, Cambridge
(2009) and of American Biographical Inst. (2009).

Dr. Kisi worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck,
Germany (2021–2025). He previously held prominent academic positions, including Professor at Ilia
State University, Georgia (2017–2021), and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering at
Basari University, Turkey (2012–2016). He also served as Head of the Civil Engineering
Department at Erciyes University (2011–2012).
He received his Ph.D. in Hydraulic Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey, in
2003. Over the years, Dr. Kisi has gained recognition for his innovative contributions to hydrology,
hydro-informatics, and environmental sciences. His research primarily focuses on advancing water
resources engineering through the development of innovative modeling and prediction techniques.
This includes suspended sediment, streamflow, groundwater, flood and drought modeling, and novel
trend analysis methods. He employs advanced statistical and machine learning (ML) approaches,
including explainable ML and deep learning, combined with remote sensing data, empirical mode
decomposition, and wavelet analysis. Additionally, He explores spatial and temporal hydroclimatic
patterns using cutting-edge graphical trend methods, such as innovative trend analysis, innovative
polygon trend analysis and wavelet analysis. He also integrates wavelet analysis, remote sensing,
and machine learning with metaheuristic optimization techniques to address global challenges in
these domains.
Dr. Kisi has been a recipient of prestigious awards such as the 2006 International Tison Award
(Link 1) by the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) and the Best Discussion
Award by the Environmental and Water Resources Institute of the American Society of Civil
Engineers (ASCE) in 2023. He was recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate in 2021
and consistently ranked among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide (Link 2) by Stanford
University (2020–2024)

Fernando Moreira established the Science and Technology Department and served as its head from May 2018 until February 2022. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 1992, a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering in 1997, and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering in 2003, all from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto. In 2018, he also achieved his Habilitation.
He has been a dedicated member of the Science and Technology Department at Portucalense University since 1992, where he currently holds the position of Full Professor. Additionally, he serves as a visiting professor at several other esteemed universities. His teaching portfolio encompasses various subjects spanning undergraduate and post-graduate studies. He also supervises Ph.D. and Master's students.
He has significantly contributed to his field with over 250 peer-reviewed scientific publications in national and international journals and conferences. He serves as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for various journals and books and has organized numerous special issues for JCR journals. His commitment to advancing research is further reflected in his consistent participation on Programme and Scientific committees for national and international conferences.
He held the MSc in Computation coordinator position for a decade, demonstrating his dedication to academic leadership. He is a REMIT research center steering committee member with extensive editorial experience, co-editing several books. His professional affiliations include NSTICC, ACM, and IEEE.
His primary research interests encompass mobile computing, ICT in Higher Education, Mobile learning, Social Business, and Digital transformation. He received the prestigious Atlas Elsevier Award in April 2019 for his contributions.
