Visa Information

General Information

International participants planning to attend IMCLIMATE2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, may be required to obtain a visa, depending on their country of origin. Please check your country’s requirements well in advance of travel.

1. Visa Requirements

  • Citizens of many countries are allowed to enter Malaysia without a visa for short stays (ranging from 14 to 90 days).
  • Participants from countries that require a visa should apply in advance through the nearest Malaysian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate.

2. Documents Usually Required

  • A valid passport (with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of entry).
  • Completed visa application form.
  • Recent passport-sized photographs.
  • Proof of conference registration (invitation letter will be provided upon request).
  • Travel itinerary and proof of accommodation.

3. Visa Assistance

  • Upon request and after registration confirmation, the organizing committee will provide an official invitation letter to support your visa application.
  • Please note: The invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval. It serves only to support your application.

We encourage participants to check the latest visa guidelines well in advance and complete their applications early to ensure timely processing.
