The InSciTech Meet on Condensed Matter Physics (IMCMP2026)
is a premier international conference dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge
research, theoretical advancements, and experimental breakthroughs in condensed
matter physics and related interdisciplinary fields. The summit will take place
from December 07–09, 2026, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
IMCMP2026 will bring together a global community of
physicists, materials scientists, researchers, academicians, experimentalists,
theorists, and industry innovators to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration,
and advance fundamental and applied research that deepens our understanding of
the physical properties of matter.
Organized by InSciTech Summits, this three-day event
provides a multidisciplinary platform for the exchange of pioneering ideas,
discussion of real-world experimental and technological applications, and
development of impactful collaborations between academia, research
institutions, and industry. The scientific program will feature plenary and
keynote lectures, technical sessions, case-based and application-focused
discussions, interactive panel forums, workshops, and extensive networking
opportunities, all designed to inspire innovation and accelerate progress
in condensed matter physics and its technological implications.
Market Analysis – IMCMP2026
The global condensed matter physics and materials research
ecosystem is experiencing steady growth, driven by advances in experimental
techniques and computational modeling, increasing demand for novel electronic,
magnetic, and quantum materials, expansion of applications in semiconductors,
energy technologies, and nanodevices, and sustained investment in fundamental
and applied physics research by governments and industry.
Dubai is the
most populous city in the United Arab Emirates and the capital of the
Emirate of Dubai. It is on a creek on the southeastern coast of the Persian
Gulf. As of 2025, its population stands at 4 million, 92% of whom are
expatriates. The wider urban area includes Sharjah and has a population of 5
million people as of 2023, while the Dubai–Sharjah–Ajman metropolitan area has
a population of 6 million people.
Founded in the early 18th century
as a pearling and fishing settlement, Dubai became a regional trade hub in
the 20th century after declaring itself a free port (1901) and extending
the Creek (1961). Modest oil revenue
helped accelerate Dubai's development from the 1960s to the 1990s, when the
city started to diversify its economy. In 2018, oil production contributed less
than 1% to the emirate's GDP.
