Short-Stay Visa (Schengen Visa) – up to 90 days

Denmark is part of the Schengen Area, so if you’re visiting for tourism, business, or family visits for up to 90 days within a 180-day period, you may need a Schengen Visa (Type C).

Who does NOT need a visa:
Citizens of EU/EEA countries and Switzerland
Citizens of visa-exempt countries (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc.)
Can enter Denmark without a visa for up to 90 days within 180 days
Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date from the Schengen Area

Who needs a visa:
Citizens of countries like India, China, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, etc.
Must apply for a Schengen Visa through the Danish embassy or consulate in your country

Requirements for Schengen Visa:

Completed visa application form

Valid passport

Recent passport-sized photos

Travel insurance (minimum coverage €30,000)

Proof of accommodation and return flight

Proof of financial means (bank statements, etc.)

Visa fee (approx. €80 for adults)
