Dr. Sarang Pande is a distinguished academician and administrator, currently serving as the Professor and Principal at Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering along with an internationally verified academic qualification recognized by World Education Services (WES). With over 24 years of extensive experience in the education sector, he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development.
In his leadership role, Dr. Pande oversees the overall operations and administration of the institution, ensuring that academic programs remain aligned with evolving industrial trends and global standards. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening industry–academia collaboration by facilitating Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with leading industries and universities at both national and international levels. He has also been instrumental in successfully leading accreditation initiatives, enhancing the institution’s academic credibility and quality standards.
An accomplished researcher and mentor, Dr. Pande has supervised numerous Ph.D. and postgraduate students and has contributed significantly to the academic community with over 50 publications in reputed journals and conferences. His areas of expertise include Rapid Prototyping, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Production Technology, Manufacturing Processes, and Computer Integrated Manufacturing.

He has held senior leadership roles including CFO and executive positions at multinational companies such as IBM, General Electric, and CNH, as well as consulting and advisory roles with PwC, Grant Thornton, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Currently, he serves as Vice-President for Digital Transformation and International Groups at DFCG (the French CFO network), and is an active leader within the global finance community, having served as President for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at the International Association of Financial Executives Institutes (IAFEI).
In addition to his corporate career, he is an independent Strategic Business Advisor specializing in international business development, automation, and finance transformation. He is also the co-founder of the European Outsourcing Association and CFO Automation Experience, contributing significantly to the advancement of shared services and digital finance practices. A frequent chairman and speaker at international conferences, Armand Angeli is widely recognized for his thought leadership in leveraging AI, RPA, and digital strategies to enhance financial operations and business performance.
