Biography
Tingzhong Yang is a Professor and Director at the Research Center for Digital Health Theory and Management, ZJU National Health Big Data Institute. He has advised the WHO on tobacco control and contributed to the WHO Global Action Plan for NCDs prevention. Dr. Yang is also an external faculty member at West Virginia University’s Injury Control Research Center and was invited as an academician of the Russian Academy of Social and Fundamental Sciences. His research focuses on social and behavioral science in health. He has published over 130 international papers and several books, including Health Research: Social and Behavioral Theory and Methods. Dr. Yang developed China-specific models and a theoretical framework for digital health behavior. He is an editor for the Global Journal of Social Sciences Studies.

Gilberto Dalmaso has over 40 years’ experience in pharmaceutical microbiology and sterility assurance, primarily with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where he started in 1984 with Glaxo Verona (Italy). During his distinguished career, he led a series of technology-driven process improvements in pharma microbiology using scientific methods, while achieving GMP compliance and regulatory approvals.
His laboratory gained the distinction of obtaining the world’s first rapid microbial PAT approvals from the US FDA, the first approval in Italy for parametric release of terminally sterilized products and the first FDA approval for microbiological real-time release for a non-sterile clean liquid product.
Today Gilberto is the CE & Global Life Science Advisor for GDM Pharma Consulting. In this role he collaborates and consults with global pharmaceutical companies for compliance audits, sterility assurance risk assessments, process development, process assessment & risk mitigation, pharmaceutical trainings and to develop and implement science-based strategies and processes that utilize Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
He’s also a qualified trainer for the most important regulatory agencies.

Egypt. Prof. Hegazi received his master’s degree in 1979, and his PhD in 1981. Hegazi's research work has
been focused lately on bee products and their therapeutic effects.

European Association for Cancer Research (EACR). He has 13 years’ experience as lecturer, researcher and lab technician. He holds Ph.D., M.Sc. degree in Toxicology and B.Sc. degree in Biology/Microbiology. He has been selected as an international Ph.D. candidate by the Italian
University of Tuscia (for five months) under the framework of the ERASMUS+ Mobility Student Program 2022-2023 funded by the European Commission. He has appointed as laboratory manager at Lalav hospital for Infectious diseases and coronavirus, 2020-2022. Agus Fitriangga is a public health researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas
Tanjungpura, Indonesia. His work sits at the intersection of epidemiology, community health, and
health-systems strengthening, with a strong focus on high-burden and underserved regions such as
West Kalimantan and other frontier provinces in Indonesia. He has led and contributed to
numerous studies on infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and environmental health
risks affecting border and remote communities.
His research portfolio spans tuberculosis control, digital health innovation, and mixed-methods
health-service evaluations. Agus works extensively with large routine datasets—including national
TB registry data and e-PPGBM nutrition surveillance—to generate evidence for policy and
program design. He also develops community-based interventions, such as smart screening tools,
cadres training modules, and AI-based early-detection systems tailored for primary healthcare
settings.
Agus collaborates with national and international partners, particularly institutions in the UK,
Malaysia, and Europe. These collaborations support his work on health security, youth mental
health, and stunting prevention in border regions. He also contributes as a journal reviewer for
several international health and medical science journals, supporting rigorous scientific standards
and knowledge dissemination.
Beyond research, Agus is deeply involved in teaching, curriculum development, and capacity
building for medical students and frontline health workers. His academic activities include
modules on epidemiology, community medicine, border-area health, and cultural sensitivity in
healthcare. Through his combined research, teaching, and community engagement roles, he is
committed to improving equitable health outcomes and advancing innovative, context-appropriate
solutions in Indonesia.
