Visa Information

General Information

International participants attending IMPHARMA2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark, may require a Schengen visa, depending on their nationality.

1. Visa Requirements

  • Denmark is part of the Schengen Area. Citizens of EU/EEA countries and several other nations do not require a visa for short stays (up to 90 days within 180 days).
  • Participants from countries that require a visa must apply for a short-stay Schengen visa (Type C) at the Danish Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence.

2. Documents Usually Required

  • Valid passport (with at least 6 months’ validity beyond entry date).
  • Completed visa application form.
  • Recent passport-sized photographs.
  • Proof of conference registration (invitation letter will be provided after registration).
  • Flight/travel itinerary and proof of financial means.
  • Travel health insurance covering at least €30,000 for the Schengen Area.

3. Visa Assistance

  • Upon request and after registration confirmation, the organizing committee will provide an official invitation letter to support your visa application.
  • Please note: The invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval. Final decisions rest with the Danish Embassy or Consulate.

Participants are strongly encouraged to check their visa requirements and submit applications well in advance of the conference.
