Dr. Stefan Bittmann, born in 1968, is a German pediatrician. He is the father of two children. He graduated from the Gymnasium Paulinum in Münster. He studied medicine from 1989 to 1996 at the Universities of Münster, at the Rudolphina in Vienna during a year of study abroad, and at the Ludwig-Maximilian University left of the Isar in Munich. Student internships during medical studies several times in Switzerland as well as in the USA. He completed his medical studies in 1996 with the 3rd state examination in Munich. He received his doctorate with the topic of biliary atresia in childhood at the Pediatric Surgical Clinic of the Hauner Children's Hospital of the LMU Munich under Professor Dr. Kellnar. n his professional career, Bittmann has published approximately 170 scientific publications and books in the field of pediatrics and pediatric surgery (as of 1/23). He was appointed as Visiting Professor in Pediatrics in September 2022 by the Dean of School of Medicine, Shangluo Vocational and Technical College, University of Shangluo, China, where he holds a teaching position. He took over the pediatric practice in Gronau (Westf.) in April 2009 and founded the Ped Mind Institute, a research group in the field of clinical research in pediatrics, in 2010. He completed a part-time master's degree program in complementary medicine at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and graduated in 2013 with the master's thesis on HPV vaccinations and the master's examination in Bad Honnef and received the academic degree of Master of Arts (M.A.). In the further course, set up one of the largest pediatric practices in Westmünsterland and continued clinical research in the Ped Mind Institute.

Biography
Professor Popa-Wagner obtained his PhD in Biochemistry from the Institute of Biochemistry at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, and subsequently completed postdoctoral training at the Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. He later achieved habilitation in Internal Medicine and Experimental Neurology at the University of Medicine Greifswald, Germany, and conducted research in molecular psychiatry for five years at the University of Medicine Rostock, Germany. He is currently affiliated with the Vascular Neurology and Dementia Group at the Clinic of Neurology, Medical University Essen, Germany, and serves as Director of the Experimental Research Center for Normal and Pathological Aging at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova.
