Biography
Dr. Chen is currently employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Yunlin City, Taiwan. The research interest of Dr. Chen is focused broadly on science and technology at the nanoscale and material science to push scientific boundaries in diverse areas of materials science, nanotechnology, photocatalysis, environmental remediation, sustainability, optical devices, and green energy.

Biography
Lakmali Shashika Karunarathne is a Lecturer in Computer Science and Data Science, Deputy Programme Director, and Academic Induction Lead at York St John University, London, UK. She is also a doctoral researcher in Computer Science and a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA).
Her research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Databases, Blockchain, Data Science, Generative AI, and emerging digital technologies. Her work focuses on developing intelligent, data-driven solutions to address real-world challenges.
Lakmali has contributed to more than 150 international conferences and global scholarly activities, serving in roles including Guest Speaker, Distinguished Speaker, Technical Reviewer, Programme Committee Member, Local Chair, and Associate Editor. Her international academic engagement spans Europe, Asia, Australia, North America, and the Middle East. Alongside her research, she contributes extensively to postgraduate teaching, research supervision, curriculum and programme development, and academic leadership.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science with Distinction. Her academic work advances responsible and impactful applications of AI and emerging technologies, supported by a commitment to international research collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Biography
Dr. Vikas Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at
Kailash Institute of Technology, Gorakhpur. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering
from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, with
research focused on solar desalination, phase change materials, nano-enhanced thermal
energy storage, nanofluids, and energy/exergy analysis.
His research interests include the development of advanced materials and hybrid thermal
systems for renewable-energy applications, particularly solar desalination and sustainable
water technologies. He has also worked on artificial intelligence and machine-learning
approaches for prediction and optimization of thermal and energy systems. In addition, his
research includes the development and electrochemical characterization of non-precious
electrocatalysts, including NiFeâ‚‚Oâ‚„-based heterostructures, for sustainable energy conversion.
His broader research vision is to integrate advanced materials, renewable energy, thermal
energy storage, electrochemical technologies, and artificial intelligence to develop
efficient, economical, and environmentally sustainable solutions for energy and water
challenges.

Biography
Prof. Dr. Raul Duarte Salgueiral Gomes Campilho is a Permanent Associate Professor with Habilitation at ISEP – School of Engineering, Porto, Portugal, where he teaches Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Applied Mechanics. He earned his Degree, Master's, Ph.D., and Habilitation in Mechanical Engineering from ISEP and FEUP, achieving distinction throughout his academic career. Prof. Campilho has over two decades of teaching and research experience and has supervised numerous Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. theses. His research focuses on fracture mechanics, composite materials, adhesive bonding, finite element analysis, machine design, and advanced structural engineering techniques. He is the author of more than 420 peer-reviewed journal articles, 58 books, and 196 book chapters published by leading international publishers. He has delivered over 70 keynote lectures and presented more than 800 conference papers worldwide. In addition, he has served as Editor-in-Chief and guest editor for numerous scientific journals, organized international conferences, and participated in several nationally and internationally funded research projects. Prof. Campilho is also Sub-Director of the CIDEM – Centre for Research & Development in Mechanical Engineering at ISEP and has been recognized among Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists since 2017 for his outstanding scientific contributions and research impact.

Biography
Afifah Zakiyyah Juri is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She obtained her BEng in Manufacturing Engineering in 2017 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Adelaide, Australia in 2022. She started her global academic and industrial R&D career at universities and government laboratories in three countries, including Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia; University of Tokyo, Japan; and University of Adelaide, Australia. Her research focuses on manufacturing and mechanical characterization of advanced materials. These materials have applications in optics, semiconductors, mechanical structures, dental restorations and osteoporosis/osteoarthritis studies. Much of her research involves collaborations with scholars or practitioners in physics, materials science, dentistry, anatomy, orthopedic surgery, and tribology.
