Biography
Prof. Dr. Raul Duarte Salgueiral Gomes Campilho is a Permanent Associate Professor with Habilitation at ISEP – School of Engineering, Porto, Portugal, where he teaches Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Applied Mechanics. He earned his Degree, Master's, Ph.D., and Habilitation in Mechanical Engineering from ISEP and FEUP, achieving distinction throughout his academic career. Prof. Campilho has over two decades of teaching and research experience and has supervised numerous Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. theses. His research focuses on fracture mechanics, composite materials, adhesive bonding, finite element analysis, machine design, and advanced structural engineering techniques. He is the author of more than 420 peer-reviewed journal articles, 58 books, and 196 book chapters published by leading international publishers. He has delivered over 70 keynote lectures and presented more than 800 conference papers worldwide. In addition, he has served as Editor-in-Chief and guest editor for numerous scientific journals, organized international conferences, and participated in several nationally and internationally funded research projects. Prof. Campilho is also Sub-Director of the CIDEM – Centre for Research & Development in Mechanical Engineering at ISEP and has been recognized among Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists since 2017 for his outstanding scientific contributions and research impact.

Biography
Afifah Zakiyyah Juri is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She obtained her BEng in Manufacturing Engineering in 2017 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Adelaide, Australia in 2022. She started her global academic and industrial R&D career at universities and government laboratories in three countries, including Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia; University of Tokyo, Japan; and University of Adelaide, Australia. Her research focuses on manufacturing and mechanical characterization of advanced materials. These materials have applications in optics, semiconductors, mechanical structures, dental restorations and osteoporosis/osteoarthritis studies. Much of her research involves collaborations with scholars or practitioners in physics, materials science, dentistry, anatomy, orthopedic surgery, and tribology.
