Biography
Dr. Khue Vu Nguyen is a globally recognized Vietnamese-American research scientist born in Hanoi, Vietnam, and named a 2024 Top Scholar by ScholarGPS®, ranking within the top 0.5% of all scholars worldwide. He educated at University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France, earning a B.S. in Biochemistry, an M.S. in Molecular Biology, a Ph.D. in Macromolecular Physical Chemistry, and a Doctorat d’Etat ès Sciences Physiques (Doctor of Science in Physics).Throughout his career, Dr. Nguyen has held prestigious positions across French and American institutions, notably serving as a Full Project Scientist at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine and as a Visiting Professor at the Jiangsu Medical College Medical Imaging Institute in Yancheng, China. He currently collaborates on active research with the Center for Molecular Biophysics at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Orléans, France. His diverse research portfolio spans genetic diseases, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and environmental science, yielding numerous peer-reviewed publications and multiple patents.In recognition of his scientific contributions, Dr. Nguyen received the 2022 Foreign Expert Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in Science and Engineering. He serves as a grant reviewer for the U.S. Department of Defense Peer Review Medical Research Program and is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Society for Microbiology. Additionally, he leads several academic journals as Editor-in-Chief—including Current Pediatric Research, Journal of Brain Research, and Enliven—and sits on the editorial boards of Metabolic Brain Disease, Journal of Pediatric Genetics, and Expert Opinion on Orphan Drugs.

Andrey N. Belousov, PhD, DM, Professor - a Ukrainian medical scientist and pioneer in nanotechnology, who developed the world’s first biocompatible nanomedical drugs “Micromage-B”, “MCS-B” and “ICNB”, officially registered and introduced into clinical practice since 1998. His work established a translational foundation for medical nanotechnology, linking fundamental biophysics with clinical applications in detoxification, hemocorrection, and neuroprotection. The published more 370 scientific works on results application of nanotechnology preparation in experimental and practical medicine. He has got 9 patents for the invention. Author of the scientific film which focuses on the elaboration of artificial liver device and the development of a new direction in medicine – Nanotechnology. Andrey Belousov was awarded Medical Diploma of Europe “An Honorary Scholar Europe” and R. Koch medal for the scientific achievements, development of a new direction in medicine and elaboration of new method of treatment by means preparations of nanotechnology in 2008. At now Andrey Belousov - the Head of Laboratory Applied Nanotechnologies, Professor of Department Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pediatric Anesthesiology of Kharkiv National Medical University, Ukraine. His research interests include nanomedicine, detoxification technologies, critical care pharmacology, and blood rheology correction. He continues to lead multidisciplinary research on the clinical application of nanostructured materials in medicine, contributing to the advancement of personalized and non-invasive therapies.

Michelle Lansdowne is Chair and Trustee of ISEE, a Scottish charity dedicated to raising awareness of visual stress. She holds an MBA in Sustainability, Innovation & Change Management from the University of Stirling, where her research explored the lived experiences of over 500 people with visual stress and compared the effectiveness of different interventions. With more than 25 years’ experience in global marketing leadership across SaaS, AI, fintech, and consumer sectors, Michelle brings strong strategic, communications, and advocacy skills. She is passionate about equipping professionals with the knowledge to identify, understand, and support individuals affected by this under-recognised condition. My research interests focus on the intersection of health, education and social policy, with particular emphasis on improving outcomes for individuals affected by neurodevelopmental and perceptual conditions. I am especially interested in exploring the lived experiences of individuals with Irlen Syndrome, examining how diagnosis, awareness, access to support, and treatment pathways influence educational attainment, wellbeing and quality of life.
My work adopts mixed-methods approaches to investigate barriers to effective care and support, including issues related to misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, professional awareness, and healthcare accessibility. I am also interested in disability advocacy, people-centred care, stakeholder engagement and the role of evidence-based change management in influencing policy and service provision.
A further area of interest is the relationship between education and health systems, particularly how early identification, targeted interventions, and inclusive practices can reduce barriers to learning and improve outcomes for children and young people. Through my research, I aim to contribute to greater awareness, informed policy development and the empowerment of individuals whose voices are often underrepresented in healthcare and educational decision-making

Dr. Višnja Bandalo, PhD is a Researcher, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Neurology & Neurophysiology (ISSN 2155-9562; IOMC), and Research Associate of the University of Zagreb since 2013, where she obtained a PhD in reflexive writing, an M.A. in philology, and a B.A. in Italian and French. She does research in medical humanities and comparative literature.
She authored more than 100 publications. She is the author of monographs "The Book About Oneself" (Ceres, 2011); "Discursive Features of Diaries in Modern Italian Literature" (LAP, 2018); "Convergences and Comparisons: Alvaro, C. Campo, Betocchi" (LAP, 2019).
She presented as a Keynote Speaker and Invited Speaker 45 papers at 43 International Scientific Conferences in USA, UK, Canada, Japan, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Bulgaria.
She is OCM, Member of the Scientific Boards, Editor and Peer Reviewer for many international conferences, learned societies, academic journals, book series, scientific projects, and scholarly platforms.
She developed the Eco-Art Medical Psychology Protocol. Her Postdoctoral specialisations include, among others, Cornell University (SCT, 2018).

Dr. Bernd Blobel studied Mathematics, Technical Cybernetics and Electronics, Bio-Cybernetics, Physics, Medicine and Informatics at the University of Magdeburg and other universities in the former GDR. He received his PhD in Physics with a neurophysiological study. Furthermore, he performed the Habilitation (qualification as university professor) in Medicine and Informatics. He was Head of the Institute for Biometrics and Medical Informatics at the University of Magdeburg, and thereafter Head of the Health Telematics Project Group at the Fraunhofer IIS in Erlangen. Thereafter, he acted until his retirement as Head of the German National eHealth Competence Center as well as Head of the globally unique International Interdisciplinary PhD and PostDoc College at the University of Regensburg. He was and is still leadingly involved in many countries health digitalization as well as electronic health record strategy. He published more than 600 papers, published/edited many books and supervised a big number of PhD students from all around the world. He was German Representative to many SDOs such as HL7, ISO, CEN, OMG, IEEE, ASTM, SNOMED, etc., also chairing the national mirror groups. Furthermore, he still engaged in international higher education. He is Fellow of several international academies and played specific roles in global organizations such as WHO, European Commission, UNESCO, etc. He is also Visiting Professor at the Charles University in Prague. Dr. Hamid Rahmanian FRCPsych is a Consultant Psychiatrist, Associate Clinical Director for Sutton, and Honorary Senior Lecturer based at City St Georges university -London . A Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych), he combines extensive clinical experience with academic and leadership roles across mental health services.
Dr. Rahmanian has particular expertise in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental disorders, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with a strong interest in improving diagnostic pathways, patient outcomes, and service provision for individuals across the lifespan. He has been actively involved in the development and delivery of specialist neurodevelopmental services and multidisciplinary models of care.
Alongside his clinical and leadership responsibilities, Dr. Rahmanian contributes to medical education as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and has authored and co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications and academic presentations in the fields of psychiatry, neurodevelopmental disorders, and mental health service development. His work reflects a commitment to evidence-based practice, innovation, and the continuous improvement of mental health care.
