Speech Title
Dr Yunong Yuan is an early career postdoctoral researcher (<5 years) at the USYD. He has published 10 peer-reviewed papers, with a total of 163 citations (h-index 7, i10-index 5; Google Scholar, June 2026), average 2 paper per year. In addition, he has generated 2 patents. As an ECR, he has received two funding including the national competitive grant, Australian Vision Research (AVR) grant (AUD $64,368) and the USYD Biomanufacturing Incubator Seed Funding (AUD $10,000). He has also demonstrated strong leadership and academic engagement in directing multi-disciplinary projects, serving as a session chair for “Light and Sound-Based Biofabrication for Tissue Engineering” at TERMIS EU 2026. His research interests are 3D printing, biomaterials and theory based simulation model.

Doctor of Medical Sciences and maxillofacial surgeon focused on
digital and additive approaches to reconstructive surgery. Leads
the surgical dentistry department and the digital-technologies
center at the Research Institute of Dentistry and Maxillofacial
Surgery, First St. Petersburg State Medical University, where
research spans bioprinting, additive manufacturing and
microsurgical reconstruction.
