Mohammad Hassan Shahavi serves as an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Modern Technologies, where he specialises in nanobiotechnology and advanced chemical engineering processes. He holds a PhD from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology (Iran) and a second doctoral-level qualification from Aarhus University (Denmark). Over his career he has held roles such as Head of the Industrial Relations & Entrepreneurship Group at the Amol University of Special Modern Technologies (AUSMT), Iran. His work spans teaching, research and industry-linkage in chemical engineering, nanobiotechnology, and process intensification.

Dr. Seong-Woo Woo is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, specializing in reliability engineering, mechanical system design, and accelerated life testing (ALT). He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, following his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Pusan National University in South Korea. With over 160 research articles, multiple book chapters, and several authored books, Dr. Woo has made significant contributions to advancing reliability-focused design methodologies for industrial and mechanical systems. His work emphasizes failure analysis, fatigue modeling, and product life-cycle optimization, with applications in automotive, HVAC, and heavy-machinery sectors. Dr. Woo has also been associated with research and professional engineering communities in South Korea and continues to engage in international collaborations, contributing to industry-oriented engineering research and education.
