Dr. Dipak Maity is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI). He is also working as Operations Manager at the Integrated Nanosystems Development Institute (INDI), IUI, USA. Dr. Maity previously worked as a Professor and Dean R&D in the Assam Kaziranga University and Associate/assistant Professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Shiv Nadar University and University of Petroleum & Energy Studies in India. He completed his Masters in Materials Science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. Dr. Maity has over 100 publications including peer-reviewed scientific journal papers and book chapters with h-index: 30 (i10 index ~50) and citations: ~ 4500. He has received numerous Honors and Awards and several Merit Scholarships and Fellowships. He has also served as a Review and Editorial board member for various scientific journals and funding agencies. He is also among the World’ Top 2% Scientist in Nano-Biomaterials. Dr. Maity has about 12 years of teaching experience in Materials/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and Nanotechnology and more than 20 years of research expertise in the area of Magnetic Nanoparticles for Cancer Theragnostic (Therapeutics & Diagnostics). His current research interest lies in “Multifunctional Metal/Metal Oxide Nanoparticles for Biomedical, Environmental and Agricultural Applications”.

Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is an Emeritus Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a globally recognized expert in liquid crystal science and display technologies. He graduated in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Electronics Institute in 1973, received his PhD in 1978, and later earned his Doctor of Sciences degree in 1988 from the Institute of Crystallography, USSR Academy of Sciences. Before joining HKUST in 1999, he led major research divisions in Moscow, including the “Fine Chemistry for Electronics” Division at NIOPIK and served as a senior scientist at the Shubnikov Institute of Crystallography. Over his distinguished career, Prof. Chigrinov has made foundational contributions to the theory of electro-optic effects, photo-alignment technologies, and advanced liquid-crystal devices. He has authored several books, hundreds of scientific papers, and holds numerous international patents. A Fellow of the Society for Information Display (SID), a member of the EU Academy of Sciences, and recipient of major awards including the Slottow-Owaki Prize, he continues to influence global research and innovation in optics, photonics, and advanced display systems.

Prof. Paulo César de Morais is a distinguished Brazilian physicist and researcher. He holds degrees in Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) from the University of Brasília (UnB). He completed his PhD in Physics in 1986 at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and carried out postdoctoral research at Bell Communications Research in New Jersey (1987–1988). He was a full professor of Physics at UnB until his retirement in 2013. In 2014, he was named Emeritus Professor at UnB. In 2018, he joined the Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) as a full professor. Over his career, Prof. Morais has been a CNPq-1A Research Fellow (since 2010) and has received several awards, including the 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB. He has also held visiting and distinguished professorships in China — at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) (2012–2015) and Anhui University (AHU) (2016–2019).
