On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you all to the Inscitech Summit on Public Health and Health Care Medicine (IMMEDICINE2026), taking place in the historic city of Rome, Italy, from May 04–06, 2026.
As we gather here, we are united by a shared vision of advancing public health and strengthening healthcare systems to meet the evolving needs of our societies. This summit provides a unique platform for distinguished researchers, clinicians, policy makers, and practitioners from across the globe to exchange knowledge, explore innovative solutions, and build collaborations that will shape the future of healthcare.

The InSciTech Summit on Public Health and Health Care Medicine 2026 is an international platform dedicated to advancing the dialogue, research, and innovation in public health and healthcare systems globally. Hosted in the historic and culturally rich city of Rome, Italy, this three-day summit will bring together leading professionals, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across disciplines to address current challenges and shape the future of global health.
Our mission is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange to drive impactful solutions in areas such as disease prevention, health equity, policy reform, medical innovation, and community health resilience. The summit will feature keynote lectures, panel discussions, interactive workshops, poster presentations, and networking sessions designed to stimulate new ideas and partnerships.

Academic leader with distinctive qualities, expertise, experience, and focus. The overarching
goal of my career is to utilize science to make positive social change creating a society in
which all people are supported in reaching their full potential. I have worked to achieve this
goal by advancing research, scholarship, and practice related to addressing the most pressing
challenges impacting our diverse local and global communities. Drawing on my expertise in
health-related behavior change intervention, culturally-informed programming, program
evaluation, applied research methodology, statistical analysis, and findings dissemination, I
have advanced scholarship and practice in three main areas: 1) health-related behavior change
intervention, 2) culturally-informed intervention and research, and 3) translation of research to
practice.
My approach and values exemplify collaboration, integrity, engagement, excellence, and
innovation. My work is guided by values of respect, strength-based approaches, appreciation
of diversity, investment in community, and passion for a more equitable world. I work in true
collaboration with coworkers, colleagues, community, and community supportive entities;
such as healthcare providers, national governmental funding agencies, private foundations,
local government, law enforcement, and institutes of higher education. I concentrate on
fostering collaboration, building trust, achieving results, and leveraging resources. The
exploration of innovative approaches to addressing community and institutional needs and
challenges is integral to my work. These approaches include ongoing adaptation within and

Dr. Kadhim AlAbady is a distinguished public health and epidemiology expert with over two decades of experience in academic, international, and national health systems. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health in the UK (FFPH) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP).
Dr. Alabady holds a Doctorate in Public Health and Epidemiology, a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology (MSc), and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), all awarded by universities in the Netherlands. He is also a registered Grade A Epidemiologist with the Netherlands Epidemiological Society.
Since 1999, Dr. Alabady has held prominent roles across diverse sectors, including:
• Academia: Erasmus University (Rotterdam, Netherlands), Queen Mary University (London, UK), and the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK)
• International Organizations: United Nations
• National Health Institutions: Qatar’s National Health Authority, UK National Health Service (NHS), and the Dubai Health Authority
His work has been instrumental in shaping research and development (R&D) strategies, particularly in the field of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including mental health, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and broader population health issues. Dr. Alabady has authored numerous publications in the UK, contributing significantly to public health knowledge and policy.

From 1964, he studied mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering at the University of Magdeburg. In 1968, he switched to biosciences. In 1976, he received his doctorate in molecular mechanisms of sensory perception. In 1980, he completed his habilitation thesis on the objectification of environmental effects on organisms and health. In 2001, he received his habilitation in the analysis and design of secure and interoperable distributed health information systems. He has led various working groups at IMIA, EFMI, GMDS, etc. He is the scientific director of the BIT4Health project. He is the leader or member of standardization projects in DIN, ISO, CEN, HL7, OMG, IEEE, etc. He is the chair of the CEN ISSS eHealth Standardization Focus Group. He is the co-chair of the UNESCO IFIP World Information Forum Healthcare Chapter. He is the chair or core group member of national EHR/eHealth projects on all continents. He has taught at universities on all continents.

I am a senior Lecturer at the School of Economics, hold positions on the Research Ethics Board for the College of Business and Economics, and I am a member of the SA Defense Force, serving in the pool of specialists, the Ehlanzeni Human remains forum and I play an adjudication and training role of SME in all the nine provinces of South Africa.
My focus is on Public Policy, Local Economic Development and Governance and more specifically, my current research focuses on the challenges of service provision in the townships.
When it comes to teaching, my philosophy, is that of servant-leader “teachership”. This philosophy of servant-teacher-leader is rooted deeply in my spirituality. I have been a university professor and researcher for 30 years. I coordinate the Center for Studies and Research in Work, Health and Intersectorality / NETSI and in this nucleus I coordinate 14 research groups formed by researchers from different areas of knowledge, eg social work, psychology, nutrition, occupational therapy, medicine, etc. Minister discipline together with the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Course at the University where also the student body is formed by professionals from different areas of knowledge. I worked as a member of the Technical Advisory and Planning team / ASSTEPLAN and currently I work in the Research Coordination of the School of Public Health of the State Secretariat of Health of the state government. I conduct various research on the interface between vocational training and public policies with research categories intersectoriality, interdisciplinarity public policies. This broad experience of teaching, researching and managing is enriched by the diverse experience of participating in national and international events.

Michal Elboim-Gabyzon is a full-time lecturer and faculty member in the Physical Therapy Department at the University of Haifa (UOH). She received a bachelor’s degree in 1999, (with honors) and a master’s degree in 2005 in physical therapy from Tel Aviv University, and a PhD in 2011 from the University of Haifa. She completed post-doctoral studies at the Biorobotics and Biomechanics Lab at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty at the Technion, Israel (2012), and at the Neuromuscular Research Laboratory, Schulthess Clinic, Zurich, Switzerland (2014-2015).

Andrei A. Bunaciu was born in 1955 in Fagaras, a small town in the heart of Transylvania, and graduated from Politehnica University of Bucharest in 1979. He received his Ph.D. from the Politehnica University of Bucharest, Faculty of Chemistry, Department of Analytical Chemistry in 1990. His research interests focus on the molecular recognition of compounds in pharmaceutical, biological, and food matrices, using infrared spectroscopy techniques. He is the author/co-author of about 100 publications in biomedical, pharmaceutical and food analysis, including a book, VIBRATIONAL SPECTROSCOPY APPLICATIONS IN BIOMEDICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL AND FOOD SCIENCES, published in 2020 by Elsevier, Inc., a second one, EDIBLE OILS ANALYSIS. TRENDS IN INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY AND OTHER ANALYTICAL METHODS, will be published soon, November 2025 by Elsevier, Inc., and five chapters in different books.

Shireen is CEO of the Center for Engineering and Planning (CEP), a leading Palestinian engineering firm that’s based in Ramallah, Palestine. Under Shireen’s leadership, CEP has grown to have operations in Canada, UAE, Iraq, Libya, and Jordan. Shireen leads technical teams of national and international experts in spatial, strategic planning, and infrastructure development for urban and rural communities.
Shireen is also co-founder and board chairwoman of Shelleh Medical and Pharmaceutical Supplies. And although company recently established in 2017 that’s also based in Palestine, yet has already become the sole regional supplier of world renowned health products and medical supplies.
Shireen has been appointed on 2022 by Singapore Government as their honorary head of Singapore representative office in Palestine.
Shireen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University in Palestine, and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA. Shireen has been selected by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader of the Year 2016 (YGL). She is a board member of the Palestinian Business Women Forum (BWF), and a member of several other social and technical organizations.
